Plastic surgery financing

When I first heard about plastic surgery financing, I thought it was a great idea. You see, I had wanted to get a plastic surgery operation for a long time, but it didn't seem like I could afford it. No matter what, I never had the thousands of dollars that it would require to get a tummy tuck surgery. I knew some great plastic surgery doctors who had done wonderful work for a friend of mine who wanted a breast lift surgery, but his services were always way out of my range. Finding out that there were several clinics that finance plastic surgery, I decided to reconsider the possibility. I figured that it would be worth at least looking into.

As it turned out, plastic surgery financing almost was a huge mistake for me. Don't get me wrong – if you have a steady source of income and the rates are reasonable, plastic surgery financing can be a great thing for many people. The problem is that you really have to have a steady source of income. Plastic surgery financing is fine as long as you can keep up with the payments. If you start to fall behind, however, it can be a real problem. Because there is nothing for them to foreclose on – you can't very well give back the surgery – plastic surgery financing can lead to bankruptcy. It very nearly did for me.

Although my plastic surgery financing very nearly led to trouble, I still don't regret it. After all, in the end it turned out alright. I managed to catch up on my payments, and I am now in a pretty sound financial situation. Even still, I would never get plastic surgery financing again. The misadventure I had served as a wake-up call. It is just not wise to get something that you cannot afford yet. If I had the money waiting, getting plastic surgery would be fine. All I would have to do is find a good plastic surgery doctor, schedule an appointment, and that would be it. Buying something as frivolous as a plastic surgery operation without the money already available, however, is a bad idea.

Nevertheless, for a lot of people plastic surgery financing makes sense. After all, who wants to wait to get plastic surgery? You want to look good as soon as possible. If you wait until you are old and in a sound financial situation, you won't get to enjoy your new look as much.
